When a shapeshifter's chance encounter with a long-lost childhood friend goes awry, the shapeshifter secretly enrolls in the same art course to rebuild their connection, inadvertently embarking on a path of self discovery.

Three girls in the modern day find an old record titled "Be Like Betty".  They are soon whisked away to 1950 where the older versions of themselves must learn the Do's and Don'ts of dating. They go up against Betty, the perfect example of how a young woman should be. Each of the girls goes on a date with Jack an all American guy, and compete for his heart. All the girls struggle-except for Betty. As tensions rise, they all think maybe if they were a bit more like Betty...things would be different.
